At XT Group, social responsibility and community activity have become the foundation stones on which we base our business activities throughout the world. Over the years, the Group has led initiatives of varying scales and donated tens of millions dollars to serve the community.

Displaying a personal commitment to each social venture is the Group's Chairman, Udi Angel, who leads the way by regularly donating his own time, resources, initiative and vMost prominently, Mr Angel is the President of the worldwide charity organization, ‘Variety Israel’, which each year helps thousands of children with special needs cope with a destiny that has not been kind.

Additionally, he is Chairman of the Rupin Academic Center (3,000 students) and also works tirelessly to affect significant change on issues related to preserving the environment.

Smiles in the Hospital

As part of his work for ‘Variety’, Udi Angel initiated a project, together with Israel Corp, to build a playroom in every hospital throughout the country. These rooms are a haven of fun and interest for hospitalised children and a respite from the harsh confines of hospital routines and the struggle with sickness, pain and fear. It is a place for children to take a deep breath and replenish their strength and hope.

Password for every Pupil

Under the leadership of Udi Angel, XT Group has given Israeli education a substantial helping hand through the project ‘Password for every Pupil’.

A powerful computer platform gives those involved in the educational community in Israel’s remotest areas, access to an educational network. Every child has a password which grants entry to this database from anywhere: home, school, community centre etc. The target is to see no fewer than 100,000 password holders connect to the system learning, broadening their horizons, and accessing opportunities for personal development.

Opening our hearts – financial donations

XT Group regularly opens its heart to the many needs of the third sector: charities, organizations, institutions and individuals who help the underprivileged population and receive financial assistance from the Group.
These donations are an integral part of the business ethos of the company and its contributions reach several million dollars every year.

These are made in addition to the larger donations promoting national projects – among them hospitals, the opening of a national sports facility and more.
