Crew Coordinator



  • Oversee crew changes and ensure they are done accordingly as per company policies and in the most economical and efficient way.
  • Keep in close contact with the vessels as per company standards and update the vessel in due time regarding crew change plans.
  • Make travel arrangements for sea employees and superintendents.
  • Update and maintain crew personal files.
  • Ensure crew certificates are up to date with all national and company regulations (STCW/Flag etc).
  • Visit vessels during their port stays and meet the crew on board.
  • Monitor crew evaluations and performances.
  • Verify and approve disbursement accounts (DA) as per the invoice approval policy.
  • Verify and approve travel expenses as per company policies.
  • Create senior briefings according to a planned schedule.
  • Brief new team members regarding crew policies and procedures.
  • Achieve the departmental objectives.



  •  Good organization skills.
  • A previous experience in a similar position from a shipping company.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • An ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluent English.
  • Multitasking ability.



  • An independent thinker who is responsible and diligent.
  • A quick learner who can adjust to any given situation.
  • Someone who can work under pressure in a 24/7 availability.
