IT Business Analyst

WHAT YOU’LL DO?

  • Analyze and optimize core business processes across departments (operations, commercial, finance, etc.)
  • Gather and document business requirements, translating them into clear functional specifications
  • Evaluate and recommend IT systems and solutions that drive efficiency and automation
  • Lead or support the implementation of business applications and digital tools (e.g. ERP, BI platforms, RPA, AI-based solutions)
  • Improve integrity, accessibility, and governance of data across the company
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven decision-making opportunities
  • Serve as a change agent to promote adoption of new systems, processes, and tools
  • Conduct gap analyses, prepare business cases, and support project prioritization

WHAT YOU’LL NEED?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Industrial Eng. (IT Systems branch), or related field
  • 5–9 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a complex, process-driven environment
  • Proven experience in digital transformation projects or process automation initiatives
  • Familiarity with the shipping, logistics, or chemical sectors is a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling, data flows, and system integration
  • Experience with ERP systems, BI tools, data analytics platforms, or AI adoption
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus but not required
