Marine/Operation Superintendent

Job Responsibilities:

• Daily follow-up on vessels’ marine performance and requirements.
• Monitor daily vessel correspondence and provide guidance and support on marine-related matters.
• Review cargoes to be loaded across the fleet and provide appropriate guidance to Masters.
• Provide vessel-related information required for fixtures or requested by charterers.
• Work closely with Technical Superintendents (TSI) to monitor and improve deck maintenance.
• Ensure vessels are properly prepared for inspections.

Requirements:

• A minimum of one year of shore-based experience as a Marine Superintendent –  a must.
• Several years of seagoing experience, including at least one year as a Master Mariner – a Must.
• Experience with Bulk Carriers and/or Container Vessels.
• A proven background in the maritime industry.
