Technical Superintendent

WHAT YOU’LL DO?

• Daily follow up on all vessels’ technical related performance and requirements.
• Monitor and follow daily vessel correspondence and provide feedback/assistance on technical issues.
• Routine Inspections of the assigned vessels (visits and / or by remote inspections).
• Provide any data required for vessel fixtures or any data requested by charterers.
• Work closely with the Marine and Purchasing departments to improve and follow up on vessel’s maintenance.
• Monitor and evaluate the technical crew onboard.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED?

• A minimum of a year experience as a Technical Superintendent onshore and several years of experience at sea with at least a year as a Chief Engineer.
• An experience with Container and bulk vessels- an advantage.
• A proven background in the maritime industry.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
