Technical Superintendent

Job Responsibilities:

• Daily follow-up on the technical performance and requirements of assigned vessels.
• Monitor vessel correspondence and provide timely feedback and support on technical matters.
• Conduct routine inspections of assigned vessels, both onboard and remotely.
• Provide technical data required for vessel fixtures and respond to technical information requests from charterers.
• Work closely with the Marine and Purchasing departments to ensure effective vessel maintenance and follow-up.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of technical crew onboard.
• Support the planning and follow-up of maintenance, repairs, and other technical activities.

Requirements:

• At least one year of shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent – a must.
• Several years of seagoing experience, including at least one year as Chief Engineer – a must.
• Proven experience in the maritime industry.
• Experience with container and/or bulk vessels
• Experience working with a diversified fleet
